Public Note:
Cap plane, center slightly depressed. Surface dry, finely and obscurely tomentulose or in some places finely cracking into plaques. Hunter green with grass green and then yellow disc at very center. Margin obscurely tuberculate-sulcate. Gills subdistant, almost all of same length; some branching near juncture with stipe. Cream yellow to dull light chartreuse-yellow. Not marginate. Intensely yellow in UV light. Stipe 60 mm tall, 13 mm thick at apex. Surface with fine, obscure, light yellowy chevrons near base. Whitish cream to light yellow overall, yellower near apex. Flesh whitish, stipe with large central hollow filled in places with a little transverse pith. KOH negative. Taste indistinct or very, very weakly acrid. Odor indistinct. Fruiting in humus under Nothofagus, near rotting wood.
