Specimen notes
Public Note:
Cap 26 mm wide, round-conical or broadly convex with low, diffuse broad umbo. Dry, with fine, appressed brownish ochre fibrils in squamules, radially fibrillose outwards. Center of cap with yellowish tones, outwards creamy whitish. Gills fairly close, dull warm tan. Deep, strongly sinuate (appearing free or with deep depression/moat around stipe). Stipe 47-67 mm tall, 5-7 mm thick. Tall, straight, cylindrical or with evenly enlarged lower stipe. Whitish at apex with very fine layer of scurfiness, lower down smooth, lustrous-shiny. Creamy to obscurely clear yellow. Odor distinct, strong, sweet; some mix of floral, cinnamony, honey-like, fruity. In moss, under Nothofagus, near rotting wood.
