Public Note:
Cap 56 mm wide. Plane-broadly convex. Moist-tacky. Smooth with floccose tufts of whitish-cream fibrils forming loose apressed scales.
Very dark brown at center, leather brown to brownish tan and beige outwards. Margin opaque.
Gills pallid, dingy clay-tan. Broadly attached or with fine notch and sinuate tooth.
Stipe 80 x 9-11 mm. Smooth with brownish fibrils and whitish chevrons over lower half. Whitish cream to yellowish near apex, dull beige-whitish over lower hal. Straight to slightly curved, base clavate, slightly enlarged; with very thick, branched, elastic white rhizomorphs.
Flesh whitish yellow, stipe with central hollow.
