Macroscopically recalls Crocicreas, off-white, more or less glabrous (sparse, hair-like elements on receptacle when dry). Phylogenetically very close to the morphologically similar PDD 60116. Macroscopically D2140 also very simialr

Public Note:
ITS phylogeny forms a clade in Lachnaceae. Apothecia with poorly developed (finely roughened, tangled ) hairs, excipulum gleatinous, somewhat tangled rather than strictly parallel elements, simple paraphyses, small ascospores. Species in both NZ and Australia, all on wood.
