Specimen notes
Public Note:
[WMD] Entoloma which is notably tall. Cap size 11-23 mm in diameter and 80-93 mm in height. Stipe pale yellowish, 3 mm, tapering at base. No conspicuous caulocystidia. Cap is tan, striate/sulcate, distinctly fibrous to scurfy in the centre. No obvious papilla or umbo. Growing amongst bryophytes on the ground in remnant kaihikatea-totara-rimu forest with broadleaf and some tea tree. Same as https://inaturalist.nz/observations/172115521. Keys out closest to Entoloma procerum but the cheilocystidia are distinctly fusoid. [JAC:25/10/2023] a complex of species here. This the same as PDD 87850 but not same as the 'type' 17681
