Public Note:
[WMD] This tiny bright red wax cap was growing in scattered groups on the ground amongst bryophytes and litter. The cap size is 4-8.5 mm in diameter and 20-30 mm in height. The gills are pale orange with a darker margin. They are attached and descending. The stipe is red-orange at the apex and paler in colour at the base, 1.5 mm in diameter and tapering at the base. Growing in remnant podocarp forest with broadleaf (totara/kaihikatea/rimu). [JAC] same as 17965. material sparse [JAC:25/10/2023] sequence an error as Gliophorus (sulfureus)
