Public Note:
Cap 5-14 mm across, brown, with slight vinaceous cast, gills golden, stipe 23-38 mm long, 1-2.5 mm thick, base with white tomentome, browning with age, odor and taste indistinct, KOH dark red, becomign red-brown on cap, no other rxn. Habitat: Scattered from duff in mixed broadleaf-podocarp forest [JAC:7/08/2023] Entoloma contaminant [JAC:25/10/2023] and again an Entoloma contaminant. [JAC:31/10/2023] and looking at the spores of all the frbs … they are an Entoloma! Clearly this is just an aberrant form of E. aromaticellum
