Public Note:
Cap 7-19 mm across, yellowish to straw-brown, slightly more brownish with age, gills pale yellow young, more ochre in age, stipe 32-45 (60) mm long, 1-2.5 mm thick, base with binding white mycelial hairs and a white tomentum, odor unpleasant, taste farinaceous. KOH slihgt gold on young cap, slight brown on mature cap. Habitat: gregarious in duff in mixed broadleaf-podocarp forest, under tree ferns [JAC:22/06/2023] a good potential type collection. Gills dried yellowish, not red. [JAC:25/10/2023] two short sequences - one pororari and the other balance. What does that indicate?
