Public Note:
Cap 18-33 mm across, viscid, light purple at first, whitish blotched where covered, darker purple with age, viscid, smooth. stipe 9-28 mm long, 6-10 mm thick with small basal bulb, flesh violet, odor slight, unplesant, taste mild. Shorter-stalked, violet stipe which doesn't decay as quickly as normal, viscid cap make this appear to be different from the common spp. [JAC:20/06/2023] spores ellipsoid, moderately verrucose.
