cap 5-12 mm across, convex to broadly convex, margin incurved well into maturity, dry, with a bloom when young, minuinty tomentose under 10x lens; dark purple to dark grayish purple. Gills adnate, at times with a decurrent tooth, close to subdistant, broad, thick-edged, edged even, slightly darker. stipe 16-31 mm ling, 1-1.5 mm thick, equal, minuintly sqummulose near apex, base with fine white tomentose hairs, concolorous with cap, no odor, taste not sampled.
