Cap 25-58 mm across, thinly viscid to dry, shiny when dry, finly appressed fibrillose, but appearing smooth, stiep 61-95 mm long, 6-11 mm thick at apex, ventricose, base tapered, partial veil, thin membranous, leaving a faint ring near apex, smooth above, veith faint chevrons below. flesh solid, fibrous, whitish staining pinkish to reddish slowly.
