quoted as having a a mushroom odour, no almond. Pores seem relativley small, not labrynthine. Spores, minus apiculus Length: µ=5.5 µm, σ=0.42; Width: µ=4.5 µm, σ=0.30; Q: µ=1.24, σ=0.08; V: µ=58.1 µm^3, σ=10.66: n=20. Cunningham quotes the spores of G. colensoi as being 4-5 um globose, less often subglobose. The type needs checking
