hyphae clamped. Spores 4-5 septate. Cortical cells variable but not roughened. Spores Length: µ=14.8 µm, σ=1.16; Width: µ=5.5 µm, σ=0.37; Q: µ=2.71, σ=0.24; V: µ=236.0 µm^3, σ=41.40: n=10. This does not fit any of McNabb's species, although closest to H. lutea with smooth cortical cells.
