Public Note:
[HW] large fawn-grey cauliflower shaped mass, c 25cm across and 18cm tall, in mown grass lawn in soil. Fisherman's Cottage off Long Bay Road, col Oliver Hancock, 2nd May 2022[JAC] spores globose, tissue dimitic. A pity nobody noted the smell. Hyphae clamped (large elongate). A few over-sized spores, as seen in other collections (2-spored basidia?). Spores (excluding apiculus) Length: µ=5.2 µm, σ=0.32; Width: µ=4.3 µm, σ=0.25; Q: µ=1.22, σ=0.08; V: µ=50.3 µm^3, σ=7.57: n=20
