Public Note:
Unlike other Aureobasidum collections this is producing black chlamydospores. Sequence says in Hormonema /Sydowia/Rhizosphaera clade. Sydowia (1895) and Rhizosphaera (1907) do not have their type species sequenced, although the the type Hormonema (1927) is quoted as a synonym of Sydowia polyspora. It might be a bit premature to ditch Hormonema against Sydowia.
