Public Note:
[PdL] Locally common under rawiri (Kunzea linearis) and tanekaha (Phyllocladus trichomanoides). Usually amongst mosses (Dicranoloma sp., and Leucobryum javense). Fruiting bodies orange to orange-yellow. Pileus finely pubescent, initially orange fading to orange-yellow (or even yellow) in over mature specimens. Gills pale orange. Stipe yellow, solid, smooth. Voucher: P.J. de Lange 14262 & T.J.P. de Lange, PDD [JAC] sequence a contaminant. Repeat and gel extract. Is waipoua and confirmd the yellow/red variation
