Public Note:
[PdL] Locally common in kauri (Agathis australis) dominated forest. Fruiting bodies usually paired, bright orange-yellow to yellow. Sparsely distributed on forest floor - i.e. never in large colonies. Voucher: P.J. de Lange 14221, A. Marshall & D.J. Blanchon, PDD, UNITEC 10243 [JAC] spores subglobose 6.5um. Hyphae tightly bundled and clamps small. Not exuding pigment. R. simplex. [2022] sequence says depokensis and not simplex. Id for the group perhaps back to PDD 80484 with id from clive. R. simplex currently based on 81207 which is a singleton. My id. Clive had antillarum but I think that is elsewhere. My distinctions are: depokensis - q=1.3, simplex - q=1.1, no pigment in koh, antillarum - q=1.1, pigment in koh. If this is depokensis then spores should be 1.3
