Public Note:
[CFS] Cap 56 mm, dark burgundy purplish-brown, dusky-chalky looking outwards with olive and pink tones near extreme margin. Surface dry, extremely finely and densely tomentulose, functionally glabrous; margin obscurely/faintly tuberculate-sulcate. Outer quarter with conspicuous concentric wrinkles. Gills finely attached, even, all of same length. Yellowish-cream in color, with fine, entire burgundy to purplish-red margins. Stipe 60 x 11 mm, cylindrical, slightly curved. Dusky rose, blush-pink with small but obvious dull darker punctations over entire length, denser towards base, more open and obvious at apex. Base of stipe whitish. UV yellow on rind of stipe flesh. Flesh whitish, large central hollow filled with transverse 'bars' of pith. Odor indistinct. Taste mild to slowly lightly acrid. KOH intensely orange on cap, fading to green within 5 minutes.
