[NS] Scattered from soil under tea tree. 31-47 mm across, 21-27 mm high, peridium tough, 1.5-4 mm thick, staining reddish in cross section, stipe a short basal pad, with binding rhizomorphs, gleba firm when young, becoming soft, then powdery. Odor very typical "scleroderma" odor. KOH orange on peridium and stipe flesh
