Public Note:
[NS] Scattered from moss covered soil, under beech. Cap (20) 39-60 mm across, with concentric rings of upturned scales, mist (not viscid) to dry, gills developing brownish stains, stipe 35-84 mm long, 5-9 mm thick, partial veil membranous, leaving an appressed ring near apex, flesh off-white to browning, with orange to orange brown in stipe, to brown overall in age, stipe with hollow core. Odor a bit rancid, taste indistinct.
