Public Note:
[NS] In large 'nest' on serface and just under duff, in beech forest. Fruit body firm, 22-49 mm across, 18-41 mm high, bright pinkish-red staining on peridium, then dingy bluish, older exposed fruit bodies rusty brown to reddish brown. Gleba gel-filled locules, oozing orangish sticky latex when squeezed, odor indistinct, taste earthy.
