[NS] Scattered in moss under beech . cap 31-50 mm across, dry, dingy yellow, darkening, stipe 29-35 mm long, 12-14 mm thick, flesh yellow and bluing in cap, then slowly fading orangish, bright yellow in stipe, faintly bluish, tubes 3-5 mm long, yellow, quickly staining dark blue, pores round, 4-5 per 2 mm, yellowish, slowly bluing. Odor indistinct, taste mild.
