Public Note:
[NS] Scattered in duff and moss under beech. Cap 30-33 mm across, dry, appressed-fibrillose scaly. Stipe 65-88 mm long, 5-6 mm thick at apex, enlarging lower, then tapered at very base finely appressed-fibrillose to annular zone, no partial veil seen. Odor spicy floral, taste mild. Flesh beige, with paler, whitish stipe core pith. [JAC] dried material with brown gill edge.
