[NS] Scattered in moss under beech . Cap 32-54 mm across, stipe 42-56 mm long, 9-14 mm thick at apex, equal or clavate, purple blushed to purple, many based rotted, no odor, taste mild, slight bitter acrid after 20 secs. . Gills cream colored. [JAC] gill edge purple.
