Specimen notes
Public Note:
[NS] Scattered in moss and lichens, under tea tree and beech. Cap 25-39 mm across, thinly viscid to dry, stipe 29--56 mm long, 6-9 mm thick at apex, base narrowing and pointed, scaly to annular zone, partial veil appearing to be a continuation of cap glutin. Flesh thin, off-white, stipe solid, stuffed with pith when young, hollow in age. Odor and taste farinaceous.
