Specimen notes
Public Note:
[WMD]This Inocybe had a creamy light brown cap with a lightly fibrous streaky appearance. The gills were cream turning beige and appeared to be attached and notched. The stipe had pink hints and a bulbous base with a distinctive expanded ‘pad’ encompassing the base. Fruit bodies were up to 4.2 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height. Growing on the ground under teatree. [JAC] clive suggests I. lepptospermi and it keys there but seems paler, less rimose, and the lilac shade to the stem nis different.
