no taste. Spores 13.3 x 8.3, very thick walled, tissue dimitic. Conflicting descriptions of D. fascicularis. With ellipsoid spores this seems closer to D. pacifica. Pterula type P. plumosa (branched, and near P. capillaris), Deflexula type D. fascicularis
