Public Note:
[GS] Growing on the horizontal trunk and branches of a fallen tree in broadleaf-podocarp forest. Fruit bodies up to 30 mm across, quite cupped in shape, even when mature, and with short stipes. [JAC] Pileipellis a partially gelatinised cutis of unclamped hyphae to 10um diam. Cheilocystidia thin-walled, broadly cylindrical, 40 x 20um. Pleurocystidia 24 x 8 with ampuliform with thick-walllede apex and with Melanoleuca-like barbed crystals dissolving rapidly in Mlelzers. Spores very weakly dextrinoid, globose 3.5um, smooth.This is really odd, and I suspect it was immature. Microscopically the barbed cystidia suggest Ripartitella raher than say Hohenbuehelia
