[PL] Cap convex, +1 gabrous, dark brown, ovoid, 50mm. Pores adnexed, excavated, pale grey, bruising brown, ovoid, variable size. Stipe cylindrical, pale with dark brown adpressed fibres. Flesh firm, quickly staining grey to dark brown on exposure. Spores 13 x 5um.
