Public Note:
[PL] Cap convex, felty, dusky pink, margin entire. Dark red where insect damage occurs. Pores adnexed, excavated, rounded, small, very brilliantly yellow, 2-3 mm. Stipe cylindrical with radicating base, yellow with red striations towards base. Bruises red, hollow? Flesh white becoming bright yellow. Spores fusoid 10-13 x 5-6um. Cystidia narrow, numerous, narrowly fusiform. PP a trechoderm, irregular, darkey hyphae 7-11um wide. No clamps. [JAC] = 13178 but with beech?
