Public Note:
[GS] Growing on decaying tree-fern fronds in a native forest remnant. Caps to 5 mm across and quite fragile. Cap surface somewhat 'hairy' in younger fruit bodies. Lower surface with only a few ill-defined gills.[JAC] material: spores 12 x 6um, cheilos irregular furcate, pilocystidia long hair-like and thick walled, 2 spored. Clearly undescribed, at least from NZ. This has a lot in common with my 'Marsmiellus' sp. 'Mt Fyffe' which isn't really a marasmiellus and needs a new genus in porotheliaceae (hydropoid clade). Might struggle with enough material to sequence this. Sequence says Calyptella and same as my Hemimycena hirsuta, which presumably it isn't
