Public Note:
[NS] Scattered under beech. Caps irregular, 25-58mm across. Stipes central to lateral. 15-35mm long, and 5-9mm thick. Base with binding mycellium. Spines broadly attached to decurrent. 1-6mm long. All parts staining yellowish at first to ochre. No odor. Taste slightly acrid
