Public Note:
[GS] Growing on large moss-covered tree roots on the ground in broadleaf-podocarp forest. Immature fruit bodies to 55 mm wide and 70 mm tall, mature fruit bodies to more than 150 mm wide. [JAC] dried mature gleba has a slight purplish tinge but sequence says retis.
