[NS] Scattered from soil, under beech. Cap 78-114 mm across, dry. Stipe 96-142 mm long, 17-22 mm thick at apex, 22-34 mm thick at base. Flesh soild, stipe very firm, cleamy-white, slowly staining pinksih buff. Taste bitter, odor indistinct. [JAC] #2 perhaps. Sequence confirms
