Public Note:
Fungus common on dead leaves of Chionochloa (and/or ? Cortaderia), round ascoma opens through a ring-like slit, the central part of the ascoma remaining sterile. This is first specimen for which DNA has been extarcted, from hymenium from fresh specimen placed direclty into extraction buffer.
