Public Note:
Asci cylindric, apex rounded, wall thickened, J-, 8-spored, 1-seriate, about 100-120 x 10-12 (-13) um. Paraphyses barely swollen at paex, containing reddish droplets; reddish pigment released into KOH. Ascospores, elliptic, ends rounded, radially symmetrical, 0-septate, turning brown within asci.
