Specimen notes
Public Note:
30th Fungal Foray of New Zealand
Public Note:
FTA Card. Large, dark disc, well-developed epithecium, J- hymenium, bitunicate asci, 8-spored, spores breaking into two part-spores, spores dark brown, smooth-walled, each part-spore about 8.5-9.5 x 5.5-6 um. ITS and LSu sequences place it amongst the Dothideomycetes, but nothing in Genbank close.
Public Note:
ITS and LSU matches PDD 106301. Incorporation of LSU into data from Boehm et al. Mycologia 107(3): 607-618, 2017 https://doi.org/10.3852/14-191, does not help with a name - it sits isolated near Pleosporomycetidae
