Notes:
plantation established in 2003 in a former agricultural field at our PFR-Lincoln farm. Most of the ground is grassy (except underneath the radiata where a pine needle litter has now developed). The soil was limed prior to planting. We did not use any spray against weeds or fertilisers over the last 8 years at least [8 years before 2016] .There was one application of organic Optimise lime two years ago [2014]. Soil pH is around 7 to 7.5.
