Public Note:
Descriptive notes: Gregarious in a row or partial ring. Pileus convex to shallowly convex, 285 mm diam. x 80 mm deep, mid brown, smooth, flat in centre, margin entire, somewhat wavy, not striate. Stipe 120 mm long, 67 mm diam. at mid length, bulbous-cylindrical, solid, eccentrically attached, inserted in a depression in fertile surface, dark olive-brown. Fertile surface porous, pale dull yellow to dirty greenish brown. Stipe flesh cappucino-brown, soft and spongy inner. Cap flesh pale yellow to creamy brown with areas of blue-green staining. Collecting notes: About 20 fruit bodies in an area of c. 7 x 3 m, some larger than the one described. All material is from a single fruit body.
