Public Note:
Cap 31-70mm across. Brown with orange fibrils and scales on stipe and cap. Stipe with raised tufts and scales below cortina. Stipe 44-85mm long and 8-15mm thick. Flesh is whitish to greyish with slight violet tinge near apex. Taste bitter.
