Public Note:
A264 on moss, podocarp trunk. Spores hyaline, weakly amyloid? With orange necropigments in KOH. Spores to 9um. CC cylindrical. Cap dark red in KOH. Has some characteristics of Callistosporium. PP of clamped, brown encrusted broad hyphae. Gills arcuate. Peculiar. LSU places near Pleurella ardesiaca, Baeospora (and the true Mycopan) and my Mycena sp. Okuti Valley, with which this is congeneric. Gen. Nov. family-level placement uncertain. Marasmineae Needs micro details
