Specimen notes
Public Note:
[GS] Growing on the ground at the base of a large podocarp. Caps to 40 mm across. [JAC] Spores brown, smooth, cheilo and pleurocystidia large, vesiculose, tending to thick walled. Spores without germ pore. I don't know where to put this. The spores are tubaria-like but the cystidia not. It would make a very odd inocybe. Were there any ecto-trees around - tea-tree, beech? [GS] Not likely to be any tea-tree or beech around.
