[GS] Growing on a dead tree fern trunk in broadleaf-podocarp forest. Caps to 20 mm across. [JAC] hyphae clamped, spores typical Hygrocybe 6.8 x 4.8 cylindrical, 4-spored. Keys to H. blanda but lamellae white. Dried material is bright yellow. Perhaps photos a bit dull. Sequence in ceracea clade and not near anything else NZ
