Specimen notes
Public Note:
[WMD] The cap of this Gliophorus is creamy in colour becoming more orangy-tan-yellow with age and with green hints. The cap size is up to 2 cm in diameter and 5.5 cm in height. The gills are creamy with a gelatinous thread and attached and slightly descending. The stipe is also cream and darker yellow-orange at the base. Growing in scattered groups aongst litter under large broadleaf trees in remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest. Spores are about 8.5 x 5.5 micron so could be a colour variation of Gliophorus chromolimoneus but the slight green colouration on the caps would be unusual for this species. Common. [JAC] material dirty and dried poorly.
