Specimen notes
Public Note:
[GS] Growing on a bank beside a track through scrubby vegetation including tea-tree. Caps to 20 mm across. Stems and caps slimy. [JAC] Gills decurrent, gill edge a sterile band of gelatinised tissue with thin cylindrical cheilocystidia embedded. Spores variable but mostly 10 x 5um. Keys to to G. chromolimoneus rather than viscoaurantius (some web pictures of the latter appear to be callistosporium). If G. chromolimoneus then really a Gloioxanthomyces awaiting recombination. A bi orange so worth checking further.
