Specimen notes
Public Note:
[NS] Hypogeous (unknown). Clustered, some partially emarged under beech and tea tree. 19-39 mm across, 14-29 mm high, peridium white, with few dingy stains, ~1mm thick, odor indistinc twhen young, Gautieria-like when overy mature. [JAC] sutures in the subcutis appear to be present, but not convincingly. Spore utricle absent. Spores 12 x 4.3, smooth, with poorly defined sterigmal fragment attached. Note the Castellano/Beever paper has errors in genus key (spore length doesn't make sense). This might be Gallacea leptopsrmi. Sequence same as PDD67598 and Phallobata and the type species of Austrogautieria. LSU says this is G. dingleyae
