Public Note:
[NS] Scattered in moss and soil, under Beech. Thickened gray clubs, 30-56 mm high, 3-7 mm thick. No odor, taste mild. [JAC] Dried paler gery with pale cream stipes. Frb with bumps under dissecting scope. Clamped. Fascicles of short cystidia observed, with gloeoplerous tips, non septate. Spores 10.6 x 6.7. basidia to 45um. Keys unconvincingly to copiocystidiata but this is much more ribust than that,
