Specimen notes
Public Note:
[GS] Growing in soil beneath tea-tree on a hillside at the entrance to the Manawatu Gorge. Up to 30 mm in length. [JAC] as Clive mentioned recently, these north island tea-tree species mostly come out as C. brunneocinerea, but would need micro details. [JAC] 2 spored. clamped, spores 9 x 7.5. With occasional emergent septate cystidia. Frb drying grey. Basidia to 55um long. Stipe ivory. Keys to C. hispidulosa but I'm not convinced of differences between C. brunneocinerea, copioso-cystidiata etc.
