Specimen notes
Public Note:
[GS] Growing beneath native trees and shrubs on a hillside at the entrance to the Manawatu Gorge. Up to 30 mm in length. [JAC] 2-spored, exuding oild drops into melzers. Basidia calocera-like, spores 11 x 7, glossy (like Clavulina). LSU same as C. stegasauroides with different moprhology and spiny spores (although not a good character).
