stem sap staining orange when cut, but fading rapidly. Lamellae not staining. NH4OH very faintly green. KOH red/brown. All frb dried dark grey (not copper). In same group as 12062, 13890, 12824. All the same or not? close to L. pyrrhophaeus in the flammeotincta group (see Vellinga paper). Spores with an indistinct germ pore. length=5.8-7.0µm (µ=6.3, σ=0.34), width=3.4-3.9µm (µ=3.7, σ=0.15), Q=1.5-1.9µm (µ=1.72, σ=0.09), n=20
